Playful. Poignant. Plaid.
The final episode of Rehearsals in the Key of H came out last Thursday, so the question that many of you probably have is “what’s next?”
Well, as most of you know, this project took waaaaaayyyyyyy more time and energy than anyone expected and we aren’t going to be able to do anything on this scale for a while. Even releasing a video a week isn’t feasible at this point in time, so we are going to begin releasing every other Thursday. So, the next video will come out April 26.
We have lots of great ideas, but it’s difficult to put them together because I (Rachel) recently moved to Utah, so filming and working together has an extra layer of complexity. In addition, we were feeling a bit burned out from this project and we needed some time to recuperate. And, as some of you might know, even the simplest video takes an enormous amount of time.
So, what do we have scheduled, you ask?
Well, while I was in Kansas working with Naomi to get Key of H done we filmed a few things before I left. They are just short, silly videos that we hope you will enjoy and will also give us a little bit of a buffer while we film other projects that we are excited about.
Some of our future projects are not necessarily music related, but we hope you’ll enjoy them anyway. In the meantime, here’s what you can look forward to in our next video!
Yes, Naomi is going to be attempting a Marilyn Monroe makeup tutorial, and let me tell you, she’s funny! I watched the loooong cut of it (it was about 30 minutes long) and enjoyed all of it. Don’t worry, we cut it down from that.
In the meantime, I have a question for all of you! What was your favorite part/aspect of Rehearsals in the Key of H? Let us know in the comments!
Peace, Love, and Plaid,
